Stormcrossing belongs to Michael Johnson, 60, a native of Boston, Massachusetts now living in Switzerland.

During my life I have worked in the hard trades as an Ironworker, Heavy Equipment operator, Carpenter, and Construction Superintendent.

I have also worked in the soft trades as a Chemical Dependency Counsellor, run support groups for adolescents with chemical dependency issues, and worked with adolescents and their families to carry out drug and alcohol evaluations for the Freedom from Chemical Dependency Foundation.

Since my early 20’s I have been involved in the study and teaching of classical Chinese Martial Arts (Kung Fu and T’ai Chi) and Taoist meditation, presently at the school I share with my wife in Switzerland, where we also work as Strength and Conditioning coaches.

My lifelong fascination with the physical workings and inner capabilities of the human body began in the late 1960’s, and proceeded along a spiral path to Martial Arts, meditation, Counselling, Performance Art, cross-cultural esoteric practices, strength training, and the roles of husband, father, friend, and teacher.
